a couple hundred washingtonians joined tranquil space on saturday, december 4th from 6 to 8pm in celebration of the holidays by indulging in a gift-buying extravaganza, and a way to support female artists and business owners.
tranquil space began as a way to bring like-minded people together to support each other. through our tranquiliT trunk shows, we are delighted to host fellow female artists and assist showcasing their creative endeavors. by turning tranquil space's beautiful studio into a shopping haven showcasing tranquiliT designs by kimberly and newly-arrived "on and off the mat" clothing and accessories in the tranquiliT boutique, we also featured fabulous local designers who specialize in fun, flair-filled clothing, accessories and treats to nurture one's inner and outer spirit. wine, cheese, sparkling h2o and complimentary chair massage awaited the shopper's arrival.
social consciousness and support of other women is an important value of tranquil space so the studio donated $125 of the proceeds to the fund for women artists. on their website, they write "we dream about what will happen as more and more women artists gain the resources they need to express their creativity fully. we are convinced that they will change the world." we agree!
