tranquil
space’s tranquility boutique is the destination for
yogis seeking yoga gear to start and/or enhance their
practice as well as anyone looking for unique and
eco-friendly gifts.
the beautiful street level shop is located right in the
heart of dupont circle’s 17th street neighborhood.
decorated with damask-covered walls, exposed brick, and
a dramatic chandelier, the space is warm and inviting –
a calm respite from the outside. some of the special
design touches enlivening the boutique include dressing
rooms made from reused pallet that delivered our
building materials, benches made from a west virginia
barn supported on reused tree grates, and shelving made
from old floor joists.
the friendly staff is always ready to help you pick out
those perfect green gifts and yoga accoutrements. the
core items of the boutique will help you awaken or
deepen an existing yoga practice. these includes a wide
array of yoga mats at various price points, as well as
books, music, candles and clothing made from sustainable
materials. new products are constantly coming into the
boutique to supply our singular clients with diverse and
original merchandise.
tucked
right behind the boutique area is our tea bar where you
can sample complimentary hot tea and cookies. the
seating area across from the tea bar is a great place to
chat with friends before and after class or take
advantage of our free wi-fi while sinking into the
comfortable pillows.
aligning with tranquil space’s socially conscious
mission, a portion of all tranquil space boutique sales
are donated to
my sister's place — an organization working to
eradicate domestic violence.
if there are products or suggestions you feel would be a
good fit for our boutique or if you would like to
schedule a personalized shopping experience, please
contact our boutique manager, marq few at
marq@tranquilspace.com.
"flattering, flirty, comfy, casual, versatile, easy care, wrinkle-free, quick-drying, elegant, chic — is this activewear or evening attire? both, if you're talking about kimberly wilson's tranquiliT clothing collection." ~ the examiner
