tranquil space is pleased
to offer this inspiring level 1 intensive teacher
training. the training is designed
for students interested in teaching beginning
to intermediate yogis, exploring vinyasa
yoga or simply deepening their own practice.
our level 1 is an introductory yoga teacher
training that is a prerequisite for our
200-hour
yoga alliance approved level
2 certification.
this introductory
intensive will provide you with a strong
foundation to practice, observe, and teach
the following:
- warm-up vinyasa
- sun salutations; step
backs & surya namaskar A, B
- basic standing poses
- basic balancing poses
- simple backbends
- hip openers
- forward bends
- basic twists
- shoulderstand and plow
- savasana
this training also
includes:
- discussion of modifications
and sequencing
- how to begin and end
a class
- how to use voice, languaging, and hands-on assisting
- introductory reading
list
- practice teaching and
assisting among the group
- feedback and homework
- basic yoga and tranquil
space teaching philosophy
- pranayama
- practice and personal
journal writing
- 15% off class passes and drop-ins (not good for 1 year or 6 month unlimited or other already discounted items or on workshop or other teacher trainings). current teacher training students get 15% off teacher training books.
- 6 yoga classes to be
taken within a designated time period
- introductory workshop
on prenatal yoga
