What is Tranquil Space teacher training?
Yoga teacher training is an intensive learning program to deepen your understanding of yoga and the fundamentals of teaching. The training involves a mixture of practice, lecture, teaching, assisting, reading, “omwork”, and self-study. It is a great way to delve into your own practice, or a great place to start the journey towards teaching.
What are the different levels of Tranquil Space teacher training?
We offer three levels of teacher training at Tranquil Space. Our Level 1 is a 33-hour intensive which prepares you with a basic foundation of how to teach a balanced class for beginners and is a great way to test the waters to see if teaching yoga is something you would like to pursue. It is also a great way to deepen your understanding of the asana practice, how to structure a class and is a pre-requisite for our Level 2. Our Level 2 training is the final step to obtaining a 200-hour certification, it challenges you to go deeper into your own practice and refines your ability to teach yoga with a start in understanding yogic philosophy. The 500-hour or Advanced Teacher Training program is designed for experienced teachers who already have their 200-hour certification, want to sharpen their teaching and are looking to investigate the advanced subtleties of the practice. We also offer a pre-natal, post-natal and tot & tyke teacher trainings.
