tranquil space is a dc based yoga studio, spa and boutique recently named one of the top 25 yoga studios in the world by travel + leisure magazine. this is a socially conscious, values-based, and community-focused business that is planning a move to a bigger studio space in dupont circle this spring. as tranquil space grows we are looking for new team members for the expanded space.

tranquil space is seeking an experienced licensed massage therapist to join our team in offering massage and specialty spa services. the ideal candidate will possess experience in the spa and/or clinical massage environment, training in a variety of modalities, a flexible schedule, and a passion for sharing the healing arts. linens and linen service is provided, as well as most supplies (therapist will provides his or her own oils).

compensation: commission-based.

benefits: yoga classes plus discounts on workshops, boutique merchandise, and retreats.

hours: our treatment staff will be on-call for scheduled hours as the spa operates on an appointment-only basis.

tranquil space is seeking an experienced licensed acupuncturist to join our team as we expand in our new location this spring. the ideal candidate must be certified by nccaom, possess a willingness and enthusiasm to adapt his or her practice to the spa environment, and possess a passion for sharing the healing arts.

hours: while we are growing, our spa will operate on an appointment only basis, requiring the candidate to function in an on-call mode for scheduled hours.
