what
amenities do you have available for those who rent
your space?
we have a sink, microwave,
and small refrigerator. the studios themselves are
equipped with stereo systems, blankets (great
for sitting on), straps, and eye pillows. there are
individual thermostats for each studio so you can
have complete temperature control. tea and cookies
are always around in abundance. feel free to use our
mat and towel rental services for $1 each if you will
be teaching classes in the space.
how many
people can each studio hold?
for yoga, we can accommodate up to 27 people in the sky and bamboo studios, and up to 46 in the earth studio. standing
or sitting, we can accommodate many more.
what hours
are the studios generally available for rent?
generally, weekday mornings and midday afternoons are available. weekends are variable depnding on workshop and teacher training schedules throughout the year. check the webschedule for information on a specific date, or contact us.
can i
rent the studio to have my own yoga practice or rehearse
for a performance?
of course, it is $30 per person per hour for the use
of either studio during our non-class times when a
manager is here. please e-mail info@tranquilspace.com to inquire on availability or to reserve your space.
is cleaning
provided?
the studio will be clean and neat when you arrive.
we ask that you please leave the studio in the same
condition that you found it. especially if you will
be serving food, we ask that you please tidy up after
yourself in consideration of our yogis who will be
practicing in the studio. thank you.
what does
it cost to rent the earth, bamboo or sky studio?
- $150/hr for sky or bamboo
- $200/hr for earth
- $50/hr off hours adjustment - this is an additional charge if the rental requires the studio to open early or close later. it is charged in half hour increments.
a 50% deposit is required to secure the rental and the balance is due at signing of the rental contract.
what
is the studio rental cancellation policy?
- notice given 96 hours (4 days) or more before the party - refund of deposit minus a $20 administrative fee
- notice given 48-96 hours before the party - credit of deposit toward classes or workshops minus a $20 administrative fee
- no credits or refunds will be issued if cancellation is received within 48 hours or less before the party
