During summer, we are at the midpoint of our calendar year in a season characterized by growth and abundance. In this workshop, we’ll focus on methods for being able to more fully see and experience this abundance through the methods of mindfulness meditation, and we’ll cool the fires of summer through a relaxing and restorative practice. The workshop includes 15 minutes of centering and pranayama, a 60-minute inward-focused practice of yin yoga during which we will have the opportunity to engage in mindfulness meditation practices, and 75 minutes of restorative yoga and yoga nidra. Our yin yoga practice will focus on the stomach and spleen meridians and will include several longer-held hip-openers, quad-openers, backbends, and forward folds. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.
Cost $45, premium members can use their workshop credit or enjoy 25% off.
