we are delighted to have opened our doors at 1632 17th street, nw (between corcoran and r, next door to safeway) in a newly renovated and eco-fabulous tranquil space. after planting the seeds in kimberly wilson's living room on 16th street in 1999, offering classes in a church parlor for nearly three years at 16th and q, and then moving to a 2-level space on p street for five years, we are honored to be returning to our neighborhood roots. our new home has three yoga studios featuring cork, bamboo, and reused barn wood flooring, a wireless internet tea bar serving organic and fair trade teas, an expanded tranquility boutique, and a specialty spa like no other (featured in daily candy just days after opening). learn about our green build-out efforts and please come by to sip tea, shop sustainable style, indulge in a spa treatment, and get your yoga on.
